About a year ago, Marie Claire released a spot-on selection of fashion icons. The team and I reviewed each picture and unanimously agreed with the well-curated list of stars and their exceptional sense of style. The article was titled, “32 of the Biggest Style Icons of All Time.” Yes, you read that correctly—of all time. But how far back into the annals of history must one go to truly honor style icons? Should we casually abandon the eras when men wore heels and women wouldn’t step out without a corset? Should we overlook the days of animal skin and bark cloth?
Let’s skip the dance with semantics and get to the heart of my point: style is within reach for all of us. A subtle gold slipper, a metallic stud, opting for a chignon with a strapless dress—these are the decisions that, over time, define a style icon. You too can join that list.
Love Always,
